The Youth Entrepreneurial Service Foundation and Euro Center Foundation in cooperation with the Municipalities of Caska, Probistip and Staro Nagoricane jointly implement the project “Building local capacities for youth policy development", funded by the European Union. The main goal of the project is to involve youth in the process of decision making and setting up mechanisms for long-term development and implementation of local youth policies.
As part of the project activities, three public debates will be held in the aforementioned three municipalities on the topic of "Building local capacities for youth policy development".
The first public debate will be held on the 14th of September (Wednesday) starting at 11.00h at the Municipality of Probistip, the second public debate will be held on the 22nd of September (Thursday) also beginning at 11.00h at the Municipality of Staro Nagoricane and the third public debate will be held on the 27th of September (Tuesday) at 13.00h at the Municipality of Caska.
Participants at the debates will be representatives of the municipalities who work in the field of creation of youth policies, representatives of civil society organisations and young people. The main goal of these events is to review the draft measures arising from the project research as well as defining a set of measures for each municipality.
The three municipalities will be direct beneficiaries of six piloted measures, out of the set of measures that will be defined, directly aimed at improving the situation of young people living in these municipalities. The measures will be implemented by NGOs working in the same municipalities and will be financed through grants from the project.
