High school students from several cities learning about entrepreneurship in Ohrid

High school students from the cities of Ohrid, Stuga, Veles, Bitola, Resen and Negotino have gathered together at the Summer Camp for Young Entrepreneurs, which took place in Ohrid during last week, starting from the 22nd and lasting until the 24th of June. This camp is part of the project “An Entrepreneur – To be or Not to be”, supported by the Youth Entrepreneurship Support Network, a project financed by the European Union.
The three-day event included interactive workshops on the principles of entrepreneurship, creative thinking, leadership and team work. The Local Development Agency – Struga, which is the local organiser of the camp, notes that one of the goals behind it is the fact that there is a lack of an entrepreneurial spirit among young people in Macedonia, and that we need to work on stimulating a vision of self-employment.
Two local high schools have been included in the project, “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Ohrid, and “Niko Nestor” in Struga.
