High school students from the cities of Ohrid, Stuga, Veles, Bitola, Resen and Negotino have gathered together at the Summer Camp for Young Entrepreneurs
, which took place in Ohrid during last week, starting from the 22nd
and lasting until the 24th
of June. This camp is part of the project “An Entrepreneur – To be or Not to be”
, supported by the Youth Entrepreneurship Support Network, a project financed by the European Union.
The three-day event included interactive workshops on the principles of entrepreneurship, creative thinking, leadership and team work. The Local Development Agency – Struga
, which is the local organiser of the camp, notes that one of the goals behind it is the fact that there is a lack of an entrepreneurial spirit among young people in Macedonia, and that we need to work on stimulating a vision of self-employment.
Two local high schools have been included in the project, “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Ohrid, and “Niko Nestor” in Struga.
